Edged in a natural casket between pines forest, white or ochre rocks, vineyards which stretch until the Mediterranean Sea, Cassis is protected by two natural monuments which are the Cap Canaille (the highest coastal cliff in Europe) glowing red when the Mistral is blowing and the white limestone Calanques.

There is a lovely & very large beach of fine sand (2 Km - 1.2 miles).
You can visit the Tauroentum Museum built on the foundations of a roman villa where several mosaics, many Greek & Roman objects, fragments of frescoes & amphora are displayed.

The statue of Liberty was set up on the Portalis Square only in 1903 (and not like in New-York in 1886).
However this is the work of the same sculptor Frederic Auguste Bartholdi.
This site also includes the aquatic leisure park "Aqualand".

Perched on a wooded hill above the wineyards, this remarkable walled city offers an attractive view towards Sainte-Baume Mountain.
Inside the village's well preserved ramparts, you may stroll around cobbled streets, visiting many art & craft workshops.
You may visit Notre-Dame du Beausset Vieux Chapel built in the 12th century in a Provencal Romanesque style, but also an exhibition of 80 votive offering as thanks to Notre Dame du Beausset Vieux.

The town of Saint-Tropez stands at the end of a wild Peninsula, overlooking a bay bearing its name.
Its history is exceptionally rich in feats of arms & historical events.
