Bandol Wines

A.O.C (PDO) Bandol Wines

Founded in 1936, the Appellation d'Origine Controlée (AOC) is an official French Label which aims to guarantee the geographical origin, style & quality of wines.

A secret to share

The Bandol vineyard lies in a natural amphitheatre where the vines are planted on terraces over approximately 1,600 hectares.

Born of the passion and respect of the Appellation and the terroir, Bandol wines bear the character of the winegrower who produced it .
Enjoying a Bandol will bring you to know the winegrowers who create such richness every day.

Covering an area of 1,480 ha, the Appellation’s terroir is concentrated over 8 towns in the department of Var :

Bandol, Le Beausset, Le Castellet, La Cadière d’Azur, Saint Cyr-sur-mer, Sainte-Anne d’Evenos, Sanary-sur-mer and Ollioules.

Sheltered by the massif of Sainte Baume to the North culminating at 1,147 metres, the Bandol vineyard descends in terraces towards the sea in a magnificent amphitheatre of wooded hills.
