FESTIVAL OF SNSM BANDOL SEA RESCUERS
Sunday July 9, the sea rescuers of the Bandol resort invite you to celebrate Saint Elme, patron saint of seafarers.
PROGRAM :
> 10:15 a.m.: Departure in procession from the church of the lifeguards carrying the statue of St Elmo to the war memorial, esplanade Suquet.
> 10 a.m.: Outdoor mass followed by presentation of decorations to rescuers at sea.
> 12:00 p.m.: ALL IN FOR THE RESCUERS
Free boarding of the public on board SNSM launches and passenger launches for the blessing at sea and the throwing of flowers in the Bay of Bandol in memory of rescuers and missing sailors.
- Demonstration of helicopter winching between the Navy's Dauphin helicopter and the SNS 164 “SAINT ELME II” sea rescue boat.
- 13:00 Return to quay to share the buffet offered by the SNSM esplanade Suquet.
- Sales stand for SNSM derivative products.
