The sun is shining, the weather is good, you are finally on a weekend, vacation or day trip and, luckily, in Bandol. You feel like walking in the sand or taking a dip, but one question nags at you: where are the beaches in Bandol?

First of all, here is an overview of the places and beaches where you can swim in Bandol. In yellow, you will find our sand beaches et in blue, our pebble beaches. As for the little dog's paw, this is the beach reserved for our 4-legged friends.

Golden sand

Golden sand and turquoise sea. 2 words that perfectly sum up the 4 sandy beaches of Bandol. 3 of them are very easy to find because they are located at the entrance to the city, close to the port. There, children will be kings, between a sand castle and seashells. These pretty beaches correspond to the names of: the Grand Vallat, the Casino Beach and the Central Beach.

The last sandy beach, also the largest in Bandol, is more intimate and hidden from the road. This is the very beautiful cove of Renecros on which you can easily walk in any season and also enjoy the restaurants, the beautiful hotel Thalazur ***** and its center of thalassotherapy.

Hidden pebbles

Out of sight, on the other side of Bandol, where the crowds are rarer, are nestled below the roads and houses, small coves of pebbles with crystal clear water. The ideal place to come and take a bath in the early morning, pick a few sea urchins (when it's the season of course), enjoy the afternoon sun and come and recharge your batteries at the end of the day.

These respond to the sweet names of Eden Roc, Barry, Capelin, the Englishwoman or even the Engraviers (Athena for locals). And these are little paradises waiting to be discovered. Infinite moreover! Because who can say where a creek begins and where it ends as it is possible to enjoy the pebbles and rocks that surround it. Our 4-legged animals are not left out! Although they are prohibited on the other beaches, one is dedicated to them. It is Dog Beach, a beach located below the Deferrari stadium with a magnificent view of the island of Bendor. History of being able to wade in peace all with one of the most beautiful views of Bandol.

In summer, some Bandol beaches are closely monitored and have their first aid station. Here are the periods concerned:

• Weekends in June and the first weekend in September, from 11 a.m. to 19 p.m.: Central beach et Grand Vallat beach ;
• From June 4 to September 4, 7 days a week, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.: Casino beach et Renecros beach ;
• From July 2 to August 28, 7 days a week, from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.: Central beach et Grand Vallat beach.
