This wine regatta organised by the Société Nautique de Bandol on May 30 and 31, 2026 brings together the two finest assets of our city: wine and the sea.
The competition will take place in two rounds:
- First departure on Saturday, May 30th at 11am.
- Second departure on Sunday, May 31st at 11am as well.
While the majority of the race will take place offshore, you, the land-based spectators, can still experience the magic of the event. How? By watching the grand departures from the Bandol breakwater. You know, the one some call "the pier" or even "the end of the harbor." Our advice: settle comfortably on the rocks and admire the sailboats speeding along with the wind.
So join us on May 30th and 31st at 11am on the seawall for a sunny marine show!

And for those who wish to participate in the adventure, here is the information you need to know...
Half of each participating crew must be employed in the wine industry.
Each boat admitted to race must take the name:
– a wine estate;
- of a professional group involved in wine production;
– of a commercial company supplying producers.
