Owned by the Tempier family since 1834, the vineyard obtained its first gold medal in 1885 under the leadership of the grandmother Léonie who built the first cellar.

Located in the heart of the Bandol appellation, the 38 hectares of the Tempier estate are spread over several plots - between the sea and steep slopes flooded with light.

Tempier is one of the rare vineyard and family houses from the mid-19th century to have retained all of its authenticity.
Here, at the estate, we live, as always, to the rhythm of the seasons, the work in the vineyards, the grape harvests...

The Tempier estate is made up of a mosaic of terroirs, the main ones being La Migoua in Beausset-Vieux, La Tourtine and Cabassaou in Castellet and the bastide in Plan du Castellet. The bastide is the soul of the estate, whose tall cypress trees float like the masts of a ship on the surrounding vines, but it is also the soul of the Peyraud family.
Lucien Peyraud, "the precursor of Mourvèdre" was in charge of Tempier from 1941 to 1982. He was succeeded by his two sons François and Jean-Marie, then Daniel Ravier, today director of the estate.
