The winegrowers of the Association "Les Vins de Bandol" have come together to offer directly, and in their diversity, the wines of Bandol that they each vinified and aged in their cellar. Here you will find them all gathered and offered to your palate.

Our history :

In 1941 the wines of Bandol received their titles of nobility: the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée - one of the first in France. After years of efforts to refine their methods of soil preparation, cultivation, pruning and vinification, the winegrowers of Bandol more than ever deserve their famous appellation. Better still, by going beyond the already strict requirements of the AOC, they have raised the wines of Bandol to the rank of the best vintages in France, of those we call great wines ".

> Red, the reference

Garnet color, dark purple, even purplish or almost black in their youth, they offer aromas of red and black fruits (morello cherry, blackcurrant, wild blackberry, blueberry,…), peony, violet, pepper, cloves, bay leaf… Wine of long aging, however, they accept to be tasted without delay.
The Bandol reds, composed of a percentage of Mourvèdre of around 70%, reach their peak after 10 or 15 years (depending on the vintages and the winegrowers' choices). Those which are made with more than 80% Mourvèdre are more austere in the first 8 or 10 years, do not fully express themselves until after ten years and can evolve over 15 years, 20 years… and sometimes much more! "

> White, seduction

"Lively, nervous, fresh, the white wines of Bandol are of great finesse. To drink young, with their aromas of white flowers (lime blossom, jasmine, orange blossom, etc.), citrus fruits and exotic fruits (lemon green, grapefruit, pineapple, lychee,). Dry and supple with hints of anise, they accompany sea fish in sauce or grilled ... To fully enjoy the finesse of their aromas, it is important to serve them chilled but not frozen, the ideal temperature is between 10 and 14 ° C.

> Rosé Wines

Soft and fruity while remaining very dry, the rosé wines of Bandol, generally from direct pressing, are made from the same grape varieties as the red wines.
Pale color with orange nuances, limpid and brilliant, in their youth expresses aromas of fruit (apricot, vine peach, redcurrant, mango, etc.), spices and plants of the garrigue (saffron, thyme, rosemary, resin of pine,…). To drink chilled but not frozen between 10 and 14 ° C. Winey and well structured, they go very well with spicy or exotic cuisine.
After 5 or 6 years, the rosé color takes on superb amber nuances and its liveliness gives way to a pleasant smoothness on an aromatic palette of candied orange peel, cinnamon and nutmeg.
