According to local tradition, the name "Tour du Bon" comes from a Saracen tower located at the top of the hill of the estate.
It is likely that in the Middle Ages it was a vast property of great lords who administered their lands fairly and treated their people justly.
Originally it was a small wine farm.
In 1960, its buildings were replaced by a large country house built with stones extracted from the ground during clearing to plant vines.
The Hocquard family became the owner of the Tour du Bon in 1968 and undertook major planting work.
The single-storey cellars, as is traditional in our region, are surrounded and protected by residential buildings.
Recently, these have been reworked and modernized to meet the demands of ever-increasing quality production.
Air conditioning ensures a constant temperature of around 15°C all year round.
The estate is one of the founding members of the Bandol Appellation created fifty years ago.
