Every year, cruise ships set sail in the bay, bringing with them thousands of vacationers. In order to attract them to your store, we provide you with the Cruise Friendly program.
Cruise Friendly: what is it?
Cruise Friendly is a network of destinations and merchants, providing cruise passengers with tools and information on stopovers. Very concretely, the organization operates as a sort of tourist guide for cruise ship occupants.
In Bandol, the principle is as follows:
- Cruise line side : at each stopover, a person from the tourist office welcomes these day vacationers to give them a map listing the businesses that are members of Cruise Friendly. This highlights the positions of the shops and their specialties (gifts, souvenirs, perfume, clothing, etc.).
- Merchant side : we provide you with postcards Mr Z which will be offered as soon as a cruise line passes through your store.
What are your advantages ?

- Be listed on the shopping guide, website and application Cruise Friendly in order to direct the flow of passengers and crew members towards your establishment.

What are your commitments?
Good news, membership is free ! However, here are the conditions that you must respect:
- Be open to stopover dates (provided in advance).
- Offer a smiling and warm welcome.
- Show signage Cruise Friendly on your storefront (provided by us).
- Offer a postcard from Monsieur Z to cruise passengers passing your door (provided by us).
- Speak a few words of English (many Americans travel).
- Accept a visit from a mystery shopper who will assess the quality of the welcome during the season.
