In Bandol, we have not yet laid out cycle paths. Two lanes located on the outer axes of the city allow you to cycle in safety. That said, you can find a really nice trail just a few kilometers from here.

Explore the coastline by bike

From downtown Sanary-sur-Mer, the V65 track opens up a long coastal cycle route for you. A route which is no less than 260 km long and which will take you through numerous towns, to the beautiful town of Nice.

This track was traced in such a way as to follow the old Provence railway line. A beautiful route to cover on two wheels. And above all, a good family outing idea which will allow you to discover part of the Var coast, with its flora and landscapes and thus be in the front row to admire the Mediterranean.

before you start

It should be noted, however, that certain portions of the route have not yet been finalized. This therefore forces you to sometimes take busy roads. Before setting out, do not hesitate to contact the tourist offices of the municipalities concerned.

Moreover, if necessary, this V65 can be known by other names: Coastal Cycle Route, Cycle Route of the Var Coast (for the Var) or Route of the Balcons d'Azur (for the Alpes-Maritimes).

In terms of elevation, we are on a relatively intermediate level. A few climbs will allow you to gain a little height, but for a good cause, since the view will be all the more beautiful.
