The Garden of Olives

Discover a typical site of Provençal agriculture with its mill
traditional oil, its dry stone terraces, its noria and many
other treasures, witnesses of an ancestral way of life and know-how.

True conservatory of the olive tree, the garden shelters an olive grove of more than 500 olive trees of 113 different varieties dotted with multiple traditional cultures. Lavender, Narcissus, Immortelle, Iris rub shoulders and permeate the garden with their scents and colors ...

Over the seasons, the garden will reveal all its secrets to you, from harvest to
transformation of typical products of Provençal agriculture. Come and experience with us the production of olive oil, wood-fired bread or the traditional harvest!

The Jardin des Oliviers is an educational site for the transmission of traditional Provençal methods and know-how. It is open to all curious history and nature buffs.

Free information :
A guided tour of the oil mill and current exhibitions is offered. The guided tour does not require prior registration. The Jardin des Oliviers is not a public park but an educational and cultural site. It is therefore forbidden to smoke inside the site and dogs, even on a leash, are not allowed. The building and its museum part (oil mill + exhibition) is accessible to people with reduced mobility, however, apart from the outdoor spaces close to the building, the rest of the garden is not accessible to people with reduced mobility. As the site is for educational purposes, the production of olive oil is not offered for sale, on the other hand, in periods outside the health crisis, an olive oil tasting is offered to visitors at the end of the guided tour. Olive oil is produced on site and is distributed to schoolchildren who participate in educational activities on the olive tree. School and extracurricular: Reception on registration all year round - modular workshops according to your expectations.
