Even if for most of you, summer Fridays may rhyme with "end of vacation", at the office, a completely different atmosphere awaits you... Come celebrate your departure with a themed evening to end your week in Bandol on a high note!
To further highlight the work of local artisans, the Terrasse de l'Office will continue its epicurean conquest in 2025. From now on, our Friday evenings this summer will be dedicated to the nectar of our region: AOC Bandol wines.
So, every evening, a vineyard will take its place on our forecourt, under our famous bougainvillea. It's here, facing the boats moored at the port, that the producers will come to present the fruits of their labor. During this aperitif, tasting and sale of their finest vintages are on the program. As a bonus, the estate present will change every Friday. The ideal opportunity to (re)discover the different know-how, the different methods, and of course, the different wines.
The icing on the cake: after this wine conversation, quizzes, blind tests, and other interactive games will be offered to the public. The prize: good humor, of course, but also wonderful gifts offered by the tourist office. A good excuse, if one were needed, to visit these terraces every week!
Here is some practical information you need to remember so you don't miss anything:
- Vineyards received: July 18th Domaine de La Bégude, July 25th Domaine Dupuy de Lôme, August 1st Domaine Rougier, August 8th Domaine Marie Bérénice, August 15th Domaine de l'Estagnol.
- Opening hours: discovery of a wine estate from 18 p.m. to 20 p.m., then musical games until 21:30 p.m.
- Where: on the forecourt of the tourist office, 3 allées Alfred Vivien.
- Good to know: reservation strongly recommended.
