The SYMPHONIA 13 orchestra was born in 2020 at the initiative of the Espace Musical de Rousset and with the support of the town of Rousset. It has in its ranks around sixty musicians mainly from conservatories and music schools in Aix-en-Provence and its surroundings. Symphonia 13 gives numerous concerts throughout Provence, with symphonic programs (symphonies and piano concertos by Beethoven, Saint Saëns Concerts, Tchaikovsky, etc.).
Symphonia 13 also accompanies the numerous Provençal choirs, in repertoires such as Verdi's Requiem, Verdi's opera choirs, Carmina Burana, Jenkins' Stabat Mater...
