The opening of the exhibition of monumental sculptures by the artist Myriam Paradisi will take place on September 8 at 18 p.m. on the Quai.
“My constant research to ennoble the human in his incarnation goes through the language of sculpture and leads me to create monumental works in steel. Styling the shapes of the bodies by lengthening the limbs, putting them in an elevated position. I transcribe the affections of the soul through the alliance of chiaroscuro generated by the fusion of the stainless nut as well as its brilliance and its openwork material which represents the interior flame, the light, the heat, while the shape of the works is an incentive to inhabit the body in all lightness which leads to the reconnection of oneself and the universe which surrounds it. The importance of the ethereal body in matter gives us a staging of a subtle world and a thirst for freedom. »
