For the only big outing of the year, with ART & Découvertes, over the 5 days, we will spend 3 days in the heart of Lorraine, a cultural and historical region in the East of France. It is made up of 4 departments which are: Meurthe & Moselle, Meuse, Moselle and Vosges the only department that we will cross without stopping there.

For this trip we have prioritized your comfort with Michel coaches.

> Day 1: June 24, 2025 - 6 a.m. - Bandol - Nancy journey
Lunch break in the Mâconnais then we will continue our journey towards Nancy, former capital of the Duchy of Lorraine. At 19:30 p.m., we will dine at the restaurant l'Irlandais before a good night's rest at the Ibis Hotel.

> Day 2: June 25, 2025

Breakfast at the hotel, then head to Place Stanislas to join the little train at 10am that will take us to discover the old town and its history. Then, free time until noon. At 12pm, lunch at the Grand Café Foy, a legendary brasserie on the square, before visiting the Museum of Fine Arts at 14pm, which is just a stone's throw away.

At 16pm, we will go to an exceptional Art Nouveau place classified as a Historic Monument, the Excelsior, to enjoy a little snack. At 17pm/17:30pm, for those who are in good shape and who wish, we will go and pay a little visit to "les Sœurs Macaron", to discover some specialties and delicacies from Nancy ... we can also push our curiosity to discover the madeleines of Liverdun (a town about twenty kilometers from Nancy, but rest assured the store is close to Place Stan) which have a totally different taste from that of the madeleines of Commercy.

Return to the Ibis hotel to relax before going to dinner at 19:30 p.m. at Café Leffe, near our hotel.

At 22:30 p.m. for the bravest and for the pleasure of the eyes, we will return to Place Stan to discover the show "Son & Lumière, Belle saison" It is a show not to be missed. Then return to the hotel for a well-deserved rest.

> Day 3: June 26, 2025

Breakfast at the hotel. At 9:30, we will take the coach (with our suitcases) to go for a guided tour of the Nancy school at 10:11. After your enrichment on Art Nouveau, at 30:14, we will take the coach back to Metz to go for lunch at the Restaurant El Theatris, next to the Saint Etienne Cathedral which we will visit at XNUMX:XNUMX.

Then, at 15:30 p.m., we will explore Metz by little train through the city's alleyways and must-see sites.

At 16:30/17 p.m., departure for our last destination in Lorraine: Verdun. We will settle in at the Privilège restaurant-hotel.

> Day 4: June 27, 2025

After breakfast at the hotel, at 8:30 am, we will take the bus to reach the
Verdun city center. At 9am, we will have a guided tour of the city by coach.
After this panoramic tour of Verdun, we will go to discover the citadel aboard wagons and immerse ourselves in the history of the Great War of 14-18. (Bring warm clothing, even in summer, the average temperature in the galleries is very cool).

At 12:15 p.m., lunch at the “Les Orchidées” restaurant.

At 14:15 p.m., meet at the Tourist Office to pick up our guide who will take us to the BRAQUIER sugared almond factory, for a guided tour and possible purchases for the most greedy. Then we will take the coach again for an afternoon of "souvenirs and memory", first we will pass in front of one of the many villages destroyed and devastated in 1916. We will continue with the guided tour of the Fort of Douaumont and then the Douaumont ossuary with a screening of the film "Men of Mud".

At 19 p.m., return to the hotel for dinner.

At 21:30 p.m., departure for the Carrières d'Haudainville, to follow the fabulous show "from Flames to Light" (bring warm clothing and possibly rain gear with a hood, umbrellas prohibited).

At 15:XNUMX a.m., return for a good night after this Lorraine trip.

> Day 5: June 28, 2025 - Return journey

At 8am we take the bus back to Bandol. But before reaching our destination, we will have a lunch break in the Dijon area to eat. Around 21pm we will drop off our suitcases at our home.

Don't forget, good shoes, a little wool and a hooded raincoat. And also medication, chargers...

Price: €1:
- €350 upon registration;
- €350 at the end of April;
- €400 8 days before departure, i.e. June 17.

Registration will be final upon payment of the deposit.
