Trained at the CNSMD in Paris in the classes of Brigitte Engerer and Pierre-Laurent Aimard, David Saudubray has been a guest at multiple festivals such as The London Proms, La Roque-d'Anthéron, and many other prestigious venues... His concerts have notably taken him to the Wigmore Hall in London with the violist Lise Berthaud, to China with the Maschere trio, to the United States in four hands with Anne-Lise Gastaldi, to Spain with the cellist Gregorio Robino... Versatile pianist, David Saudubray played in the Les Siècles orchestra, he also participated as vocal conductor in the production of La Petite Vixen Rusée by Janacek as well as Adventures and New Adventures by Ligeti (Amphithéâtre de l'Opéra Bastille, Capitole de Toulouse , Bordeaux Opera, Lille Opera…).

David Saudubray is a professor at the CRR in Paris and a speaker at the CNSM in Paris. A generous and passionate soloist and chamber musician, Sébastien Surel is unanimously praised by his peers and critics. He ardently defends the great repertoire, from baroque to today's music. He is also an improviser and shares the stage with great artists of jazz, world music and Tango. 1st prize in violin and chamber music from the CNSM of Paris in the classes of Sylvie Gazeau and Christian Ivaldi, he then studied with Pavel Vernikov, Shlomo Mintz, György Sebök, Eugène Istomin and the Ysaÿe Quartet.

In 2004, he founded the Trio Talweg, with Eric-Maria Couturier and Romain Descharmes, with whom he is invited on the stages of Europe and Asia. In 2014 he created the trio “Camara Pop” with Vincent Segal and Tomás Gubitsch whose virtuoso repertoire intertwined with original compositions and arrangements takes up the codes of chamber music by bringing the unique culture and influences of the three musicians. Sébastien Surel has held a CA in violin since 2011 and teaches violin and chamber music at the conservatory of the XNUMXth arrondissement of Paris.
