“Taking the time to marvel at the simple things of nature on hiking trails. Breathe in the powerful scent of the myrtle bushes in December, warm up by contemplating the mimosas in February, admire the asphodels in April then the stoecha lavender, and be moved by smelling the immortelle.
The red rock sliding into the blue of the sea, the green of the umbrella pines rubbing shoulders with the two. It is by taking out my notebook and my brushes, always in a corner of my bag, that I become fully aware of all the beauty of each little thing that makes up this nature. By painting them in my notebooks, they inscribe themselves in me and fill me with gratitude towards such generosity. »
