In a nutshell : official showcase of the appellation AOC Bandol located at the end of the quay of our dear city, opposite the Casino de Jeux.

Proposed discoveries : tastings* of fine wines, advice on the subject and sales at wine merchant prices.

Opening times : Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 13 p.m. and from 15 p.m. to 19 p.m. (18 p.m. in winter).

2. the weekly market

Goûts du terroir - Les marchés à Bandol

In a nutshell  : Provençal market bringing together regional artisans, seasonal fruits and vegetables, fishing treasures, textiles and other household tools.

When : every Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 13 p.m.

Or : on the port of Bandol.

Parking : 4 car parks litter the quay.

💖 The local favorite : go there early to enjoy the colors of the filled stalls and find the best products.

3. Fishermen's stalls

Goûts du terroir - Les pêcheurs à Bandol

In a nutshell  : In a former fishing village, fish is sacred in Bandol. Two professional fishermen delight our taste buds all year round.

Fisherman No. 1 : Tournevire – Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m. to 13 p.m., on the quay next to the Atlantis cruise line (Tuesdays next to the carousel).

Fisherman No. 2 : Erick Gaussen – Tuesdays, at the market, from 8 a.m. until the goods are sold out, near the carousel.

💖 The local favorite : treat yourself to a nice slice of swordfish to grill with some vegetables on the griddle… The key to a successful summer!

4. Cade, a Var specialty

Goûts du terroir - La cade à Bandol

In a nutshell  : If Marseille has panisse and Nice has socca, in the Var, we have cade, our chickpea pancake cooked over a wood fire.

Where to find her : at the food truck-style stand called La Cade Emy, visible at the daily market.

Opening times : Tuesday and Thursday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 13 p.m.

💖 The local favorite : a well-filled tray of this salty and peppery delicacy to enjoy on the port while admiring the pointus.

5. the domain of high

Goûts du terroir - Domaine des Hautes à Bandol

In a nutshell  : Independent wine estate*, the only vineyard whose vines are located in our commune of Bandol. Not part of our eponymous appellation.

Practical information : located at 2 route du Beausset, open Wednesdays from 097 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Services : tastings and live sales.

💖 The local favorite : enjoy a meeting with the couple of producers who love our land and are eager to share their passion for wine with you.

6. meeting in Provence

Goûts du terroir - RDV en Provence Bandol

In a nutshell  : Provençal Ali Baba's cave located in Place Lucien Artaud, right next to the Bandol Wine Library.

Products offered : olive oil, tapenade and other delicacies, baskets of local and seasonal fruits and vegetables…

Opening times : Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 15 p.m. and from 15 p.m. to 19 p.m.

💖 The local favorite : the perfect place to stock up in preparation for an aperitif by the sea!
