day 1: coastal path and picnic on the beach

For this first day, we suggest you to take the city's flagship walk, the one that will make you discover the nature side of Bandol: the coastal path.

Welcome to Bandol! As soon as you arrive, we advise you to stock up on provisions to leave immediately. Don't be disappointed: a picnic on the beach awaits you.

Direction the daily market located on the Place de la Mairie, to stock up on good things: fresh seasonal and local fruits and vegetables, Toulouse cade or even homemade takeaway meals, choose your option. And for children preferring the classic ham and butter or the regressive pizza, a bakery is a little further up the square, just down the stairs.

Provisions in the backpack, it's time to go for a walk. To do this, cross the road and start from the city port. Where modest southerners mingle with yachts and other flashier boats. Head west (your right when you are facing the port) and follow the boats. You will then pass in front of our Office, do not hesitate to come and say hello!

Continue your way to the Renecros beach. At this time of year, it may be that this large sandy cove is covered with algae. And fortunately for that matter. This brown plant is none other than Posidonia. A food source for marine fauna and a rampart for our coasts, it is essential, even vital, here. It is therefore valuable and can even be fun. Yes, you will see, children love running and jumping on these slightly strange cushions.

Continue your journey along the coast. You will then pass over our beautiful pebble coves. Admire the mini ocher cliffs of Bandol and enjoy the local flora: umbrella pine, agave, samphire... A real SVT course this outing!

After about an hour's walk you will arrive at the last beach in Bandol, that of the Engravers. She will be your base for a sunny picnic. It’s also the ideal place to learn how to do ricochets.

Take advantage of this break to let the children have fun making pebble marmots on the beach or looking for crabs in the rocks. This will be the moment to grant you a moment of relaxation well-deserved ! Lie back, let the sun shine on your face and close your eyes to just listen to the sound of the waves.

Sorry to wake you up from your nap, but it is time to set off again. To do this, nothing could be simpler, just follow the path in the opposite direction. But on the way back, take the time to stop at the Capelin beach.

This one has in its center a peninsula thanks to which you will be able to advance in the sea.. A beautiful panorama awaits you at its summit. Be careful though, the path can be rocky, so be sure to keep a close eye on your little ones.

He would not be teatime ? That's good, you're back in town, where ice cream, pancakes, waffles and even a tea room await you. Between us, ice cream is often the big winner, but don't let it fool you!

day 2: breakfast on the terrace and afternoon bowling

Yesterday it was rather sporty, today don't worry, it's Sunday, it’s lazy.

On this Sunday morning, take the opportunity to take it cool and offer your whole family a breakfast on the terrace. For this, several options are available to you:

• an all-inclusive breakfast served on the port by one of the many bars offering you formulas, from the most gourmet to the healthiest;
• an impromptu breakfast with good pastries purchased from one of the Bandolese artisan bakers, to be enjoyed on the terrace of a bar.

In any case, take the opportunity to breathe, take a look at the city's merchants and just enjoy a Sunday in Bandol as we like it.

To end the weekend, this afternoon it’s bowling! The ideal place in case of cool wind or rain. THE Bandol Bowling plays a double blow what's more.
