What's better than breathing in the fresh sea air? Take advantage of this family day to share a moment together and create memories. To do this, we guarantee that the zen atmosphere of the sea and the sublime landscapes of coastal path will help you.

To start, go to one of the boulangeries from the city to have breakfast and a nice picnic! Then, head to the port to start the famous coastal path.

Walk alongside the boats while heading west (to the right when you are facing the port). You will pass in front of thethe Tourist Office where you can find the trail route. After this advice break with us, continue your journey around the stadium and never stopping along the sea. You will then arrive at our largest sandy beach, that of Renecros.

There, install the beach towels and enjoy breakfast with a summer feel. A real moment of relaxation for parents and fun for children. At this time of year there aren't many people on the sand, which leaves plenty of room for little ones to have fun!

Good to know : in winter, it is possible that the sand is completely covered with algae. These, although hiding our dear golden dust, are vital. This is Posidonia, a protected and protective sea grass. Indeed, this is our wall against coastal erosion. Plus, kids love jumping on it! If you don't want to put your towel here, continue on your way, you will soon arrive at Parc du Canet. There, benches and large natural spaces await you for a green breakfast.

After this early morning, how about continue your journey towards the pebble coves ? Continue your path on the beach to reach the stairs at the very end. Continue along the coastline and overlooking the coves. This walk allows you to discover the other part of Bandol, the west side, the most natural of all.

12 hours

You have arrived at the last beach in Bandol, that of Engravers. A pretty cove of pebbles, it has the advantage of being the furthest from the center and therefore the least popular. This beach will be your base for a sunny picnic!

So take out the towels and relax on this beach with the only sound of the surf on the pebbles... and possibly the laughter of your children!

Good to know : this beach is ideal for learning how to do ricochets. Tested and approved !

walk to Saint-Cyr or games in Bandol?

For this afternoon, we have two routes to offer.

If your family is made up of older children (teenagers), you can then continue your way on the coastal path until you reach the Calanque of Port d’Alon. This creek is a key stop on the trail. Pebble beach nestled between two cliffs, it is especially the path which connects it which is very beautiful.

From Engraviers beach to the Calanque de Port d’Alon, you will need to count one hour walk. Hour during which you will overlook the sea with magnificent landscapes: curved pines, crystal clear waters, cliffs falling into the sea... Once there, you can take another break before leaving by the same path, in the opposite direction. You will then need to allow 2 hours to Bandol to arrive in town around 18 p.m.

If your family is made up of toddlers (less than 10 years old), we advise you to stop there for the coastal path and instead head back towards the city center. I promise, the children will be happy. And the parents too. To do this, go back and return to Harbour from Bandol.

15 hours

In the city center there are two spaces adored by children: the carousel, a Bandolese institution, and the games area. Take advantage of this second part of the afternoon to take a breather and let your children play on their own. A double benefit action: the little ones are delighted and the parents can relax. when do we taste?

A wide choice is available to you: small tea Room cozy with very good pastries, fabulous Tropézienne pie or even a simple café on the terrace. But from experience, we prefer to warn you, these are often the bandolais glaciers the big winners in the hearts of the little ones! Here too you will have the choice between classic ice creams, Italian ice creams, sorbets or even new flavors.

And because afternoon tea is also a good excuse to take a break, why not sit on one of the benches that litter the quay? You will be able to enjoy your ice cream with a beautiful view of the peaks and your children will have all the port to stretch their legs.
