Are you in Bandol for the week with your whole tribe? Stop organizing and start enjoying! We take care of everything.

Saturday: discovery of bandol

Take the time to arrive! There's no rush, you're on vacation and what's more, in Bandol! So take advantage of the morning to settle into your accommodation, take a breather and bring everyone together. Attack plan : lunch on the terrace and discovery of the city.

For your lunch, how about celebrating your arrival with a good fresh fish of the day? Relax and let yourself be carried away, the Bandolais restaurateurs take care of everything. Your only mission, choose one:

The afternoon is your chance to get your bearings. For this, nothing better than to let ourselves be guided by our historical route. A stroll through the city which will also take you on a journey through time and the highlights that made Bandol what it is today.

There are two ways to do this:

  • come and collect the paper guide at the tourist office;
  • let yourself be guided by the available online course here.

Sunday: coastal walk

If there is a walk to do in Bandol, in any season and with the family, it is good the coastal path. This one, if you follow it entirely, will take you straight to the Calanque de Port d’Alon, Saint-Cyr-sur-mer. And this is what we recommend if your children are now big kids. But if you have little ones, we advise you to stop at the Engraviers beach, last beach in Bandol.

Sentier du littoral pin penché Bandol

There, picnic on the pebbles, ricochet lessons and search for crabs in the rocks await you. Well, especially children. As for the parents, sunny cove, surf waves and curved umbrella pines will be your cozy nest for the day.

Monday: a day at the embiez

The island of Embiez is part of the two Paul Ricard islands with the island of Bendor. The problem is that the latter is closed for 5 years due to complete renovation. The thing (?) is that the island of Embiez, although only accessible from Six-Fours, is really worth the detour.

To reach this piece of land you will therefore have to go to Six-Fours-les-plages and more precisely to Port of Brusc. There, a shuttle available every hour will take you directly to the island after just a quarter of an hour crossing. On site, village life is organized, even in the off-season.

During this Robinson's day you will be able to: tour the island on foot thanks to the different paths and thus admire a modest protected lagoon and fields of vines with the sea in the background. You can also walk along beautiful pebble coves, enjoy exceptional panoramas over the Mediterranean or even admire an exhibition retracing the story of Paul Ricard.

Tuesday: Bandolais market & ice rink

Know that Tuesday, in Bandol, is day of Brive market. From around 8 a.m. to 13 p.m., the main platform transforms into an essential place to live. Between the magnificent colors of the region's vegetables, the smell of Provence herbs and the freshness of freshly caught fish, you can't miss it. this beautiful little market.

In the afternoon, we offer you a somewhat unusual activity for a sunny city like ours: the ice rink! A few minutes drive away, 31 to be precise, is the La Garde ice rink. The only ice rink in the surrounding area and even in the department, it welcomes you both for the pleasure of skating and for various shows and events.

Wednesday: Sanary market

Wednesday morning is also market day. Not in Bandol, but in Sanary-sur-Mer, our neighboring town. So although being a bit chauvinistic and adoring our beau weekly market, we have no choice but to admit that the one in Sanary is simply magnificent. Especially since he was elected most beautiful market in France in 2016. So clearly, we can only encourage you to stroll through the aisles of this typical Provençal market which will delight photo enthusiasts and epicureans alike.

Port de sanary-sur-mer

Thursday: get some fresh air at the 4 brothers departmental ecomuseum

A few minutes away, 26 to be precise (we like precision), is a very pretty place. The Departmental Ecomuseum of the 4 Brothers is located at Beausset, in an exceptional green setting.

The place is designed to allow you to'' learn more about the surrounding nature, on its functioning, on the living being but also and above all to reconnect you and to oxygenate your mind. The perfect alliance between fun and pleasure.

Friday: relaxation & memories of Bandol

It’s been a week full of discoveries! How about ending on a sweet note?

For this morning, go take breakfast on the terrace. First jump in one of the Bandolais bakeries to buy lots of good treats and sit down in the sun. Several options are available to you: the church square or the quay of honor or a small neighborhood bard terrace or bench with a view of the Pointus. In any case, take it at face value. cool and enjoy a morning in Bandol just the way we like it.

In the afternoon, after a well-deserved nap (we're southerners or we're not!), head to the city's port. There many shops of all kinds await you for stock up on memories.

Grocery stores selling local products, soap factories, wine cellars, bring back a little bit of Bandol in your suitcases. A nice way to extend the vacation. And remember to visit us at the tourist office! Postcards, magnets, mugs and other souvenirs are waiting for you!

INTERNSHIPS FOR CHILDREN
