Day 1: relaxation and Bandol wines

A good weekend necessarily starts slowly. Meet in one of the bars downtown and opt for a breakfast formula. Because starting the day with a croissant is good, but with a croissant served on a tray, it’s better!

If the weather is nice, sit on the terrace and enjoy a morning sunbath. Otherwise, choose your favorite atmosphere: cozy and cocooning brasserie or village bar atmosphere.

Bandol it’s the sea, the beach, a village life, but also and above all, wines. And the essential stage, especially for amateurs, is obviously the discovery of our Bandolais region. To begin the initiation, only one direction, that of the Bandol Wine House. The Œnothèque, located at the end of the quay, opposite the Gaming casino, brings together everything you need to know about our appellation.

There, you can of course buy wine, but also receive advice based on your preferences and find out which areas are open to visits. And that interests us for the future, so take note!

Based on valuable advice gathered a few hours earlier at the wine bar, set off for the wine estate of your choice. Don't panic, they're all there less than 20 minutes by car from Bandol. Yes because, although the AOC name is that of our dear town, all the vines are located outside the town.

Arriving at the estate, learn more about the winegrower's profession and taste a wine fresh from the cellar (in moderation of course, a drink is enough, you get back on the road just after). Take advantage of these exchanges, they are precious.

day 2: brunch, hike and sunset

Yesterday the day was focused on the pleasures of the table, today we offer you more of a nature day. But with a little touch of pleasure all the same!

Also take advantage of the morning to discover local products, by going for a visit to this little Brive market exactly. Made up of around ten stands, it brings together all the local delicacies. Tasty fruits and vegetables, typical Toulon cade, fresh fish, shellfish, cheeses, everything is there. Take the opportunity to buy a small snack for later.

After enjoying these sweet treats, let's take a look. To do this, it is a coastal walk that we offer you with the coastal path in the direction of Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer.

Start by joining the quay, located just in front of the Brive market and turn on your right towards Bandol Ouest. You will also pass in front of our Office. Don’t hesitate to come say hello and at the same time pick up a trail map!

This walk will allow you to follow the pretty points of the port, cross a sandy beach and small pebble coves and enjoy an exceptional landscape. Between pine forest, ocher cliff and turquoise sea, we guarantee that you will love the trip.

After about 2 hours of walking (if we count the time for the photos), you will arrive at the cove of Port d'Alon, your base. There, sit on the pebbles and enjoy the tranquility of the place. The waves break on the pebbles, the wind blows through the pines, the sun beats on your face... Breathe.

If you are hungry, also take the opportunity to take a lunch break.

15 hours

It's already time to leave! For the return, nothing could be easier: follow the same path in the opposite direction. Boring you tell us? No way ! This coastline, whether seen in one direction or the other, in the morning or in the afternoon, from one hour to the next, remains magnificent. And the effects of light can also change the landscape completely.
