Bandol as a couple on a summer weekend

This weekend is YOUR weekend for both of you. A romantic break from your busy schedule. A little getaway the way we like it, as a couple and in the sun. That’s good, Bandol is the ideal place for that!

DAY 1: visits and discovery of AOC Bandol wines

Start the day with a good breakfast! For this, two options are available to you: buy the best pain au chocolat in one of the boulangeries from the city, then head off to devour them on the sand at Renecros beach; or you can sit quietly on the terrace of a café and opt for a special formula. Have fun or relax, the choice is yours!

Bandol is the beaches, the holidays, the paradise (yes yes), but also the wines. And what better place than a wine house to learn more about our AOC Bandol wine region? After your croissant, go to theBandol wine cellar located at the end of the quay, opposite the gaming casino. Here you can start your wine initiation, get advice on which wine to buy based on your preferences and above all, get information on the wineries open for tours today. And that interests us for the future!

After theory, it’s time for practice! According to the advice obtained at the wine library, take the road to one of the many wine estates of our region. Most are within a 15-minute drive of Bandol. Please note, these are not accessible by bus or bike (the road is too dangerous). You will therefore have to use your car*, or else call on an OenoTour!

In summer, many visits are organized by the different areas. The perfect opportunity to meet producers. You will learn more about their profession, their passion, their terrain and their techniques. And you can leave with a few bottles to take back with you. Enough to brighten up any meal, even the simplest!

⛔️ It's always good to remember that the one who drives is the one who doesn't drink! If alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health, alcohol itself can be fatal on the road. So don't take any risks.

Day 2: hike on the coastal path between bandol and saint-cyr-sur-mer

This second day is our favorite! You are going to walk the flagship walk of Bandol, the one that we recommend to absolutely everyone who passes through the doors of our tourist office. We are of course talking about coastal path.

This natural pearl is perfect for admiring the Var landscapes, gaining height to better see the shades of blue of the Mediterranean and simply cutting off from the world.
