day 1: discovery of bandol and its seabed

Let's start the weekend with a discovery of the city. Or a rediscovery if you are used to the place. We suggest that you take your bearings with our historical route. A walk in the city of around two hours which will allow you to learn more about the history of Bandol through places and significant events.

As a bonus, you will be able to explore hidden alleys and paths that you would never have gone to because they are considered to be of little tourist interest... Well, a priori. Places that even some locals don't know about. And I'm telling you about it from experience.

For the lunch, therefore look for a sunny terrace to rest on. The Bandol restaurant owners of the quay but also those of the small cobbled streets of the downtown waiting for you. And to help you choose, here is the list of restaurants:

For this afternoon, it's a discovery of the seabed in which we embark you. You may have already seen during your morning stroll, a small yellow boat is docked in the port of Bandol. Finally, a yellow submarine to be more precise. This one is called the Aquascope and he suggests that you go explore the surrounding area. An excursion that is sure to please children and parents!

At the end of the day, you will have the choice between an aperitif on the terrace, a sunset over the sea, or else a ice cream to taste on the port for the children (and for the parents, we promise we won't say anything), or even all three. Treat yourself!

Day 2: the coastal path from Bandol to Port d’Alon

Yesterday, you were able to wander around the city. For this second day we invite you to discover the other part of Bandol, the natural side. And for that, nothing better than the coastal path !

To get started, head to one of the bakeries in the city or at the daily market from the town hall square. Your mission if you accept it, bring something back with you have a nice picnic with all your tribe.

11 hours

Once the picnic is in the backpack, the walk can begin. Head towards the town quay and, when you face the port, turn right. There, the coastal path already starting. Go along the pointed, yachts and other boats, go around the stadium and continue on the ledge. You will then arrive at the one and only sandy beach on your route, that of Renecros.

Cross this cove and continue straight ahead, following the coast. You will overlook our pebble coves until the last one which responds to the name of Engravers. There, the dirt path will really begin and will allow you to gain height over the sea. Continue your path, between pine forests and small coves, to the beach of Port d'Alon.

13 hours

After 2 hours of walking, you have arrived. It's high time to take a well-deserved break and break out the picnic! Take advantage of this magical place to rest, catch some rays of sunshine and do some ricochets with the children.

14 hours

The time has come to head back towards Bandol, nothing could be simpler, take the same route as on the way out, but in the opposite direction obviously. We reassure you, even if you have already been there, we very rarely tire of the landscape. Especially since the colors change throughout the day.

You will arrive in Bandol around 16 p.m., the ideal time for the to taste ! As if by chance!
