Are you taking a family break from your daily routine before the big crowds of summer? You are quite right ! And to make your week easier, here are our activity ideas.
Saturday: historical flower trail in Bandol
Take the time to arrive! There's no rush, you're on vacation and what's more, in Bandol! Take advantage of the morning to settle into your Bandoles pied-à-terre and bring everyone together. Attack plan : lunch on the terrace and discovery of the city.
For your lunch, relax and let yourself be carried away, the Bandolese restaurateurs take care of everything. Your only mission, choose one here.
In the afternoon, a discovery of the city and its treasures awaits you. And it is the historical route who will be your guide. A route throughout the city which will allow you to learn more about our history, the characters and significant events of Bandol; but also and above all which will make you navigate the small streets of the downtown passing through hidden staircases and other hidden corners. Bonus, spring offers us its pretty flowers and the children will be able to let off steam while wandering all over the city. You'll thank us when you go to bed at night.

Sunday: ride on the bandol classic
On this sunny Sunday, how about taking to the skies?
While most families and vacationers will walk on the coastal path, take the opposite course to survey Bandol's other flagship hike: the Bandol Classic. This 3 hour walk about starts like the coastal path. It will allow you to cross the beautiful sandy beach of Renecros and overlook our pretty coves of pebbles.
It is going up from the English Cove that your path separates to continue towards the land. Pine forest, paths planted with local aromatic herbs and superb view of the bay de Bandol to La Ciotat waiting for you. And don't worry, the climb is very gentle. The bonus: great trails where children will be able to exercise no problem !

Monday: head to the departmental eco-museum of the 4 brothers in Beausset
To start the week well, we would like to take you to a place that is as beautiful as it is benevolent. The Departmental Ecomuseum of the 4 Brothers is located in Beausset and it is a little gem to explore. This Provençal bastide is a place of discovery and awareness of nature, nestled in the heart of a 380 hectare natural area.
In the programme : fun exhibitions to educate young and old about the protection and functioning of nature, organized workshops and above all a wonderful playground where walks and hikes are permitted. Our proposal, if you accept it, is to explore this place with a picnic in your backpack and explore the Var flora with your little ones.

Tuesday: market in Bandol and free time
Tuesday in Bandol is market day. From 8 a.m. to 13 p.m., the port of Bandol transforms into an essential place to live. Between the magnificent colors of the region's fruits and vegetables, the smell of basil, the Provençal patterns of the fabrics and the freshness of the freshly caught fish, you cannot miss this beautiful little market.
After this busy morning, take time to enjoy with your family. A nap on the beach, an ice cream on the port or an impromptu hide-and-seek at Parc du Cane, that's also what holidays are: knowing how to breathe!
Wednesday: picnic on the coastal path between Bandol and Saint-Cyr
For this new holiday day we offer you discover the nature side from Bandol. And for that, nothing better than the coastal path !
To get started, head to one of the bakeries in the city or in the daily market from the Town Hall Square. Your mission is to bring back with you what you need to have a nice picnic with your whole tribe. Once the latter is in the backpack, the ride can begin. On the agenda for the day : pebble coves, pine forest and picnic at the Port d’Alon cove.

Thursday: visit to the Var hinterland
Bandol is the sea, the sun, the beaches and everything that goes with it, but not only that. Our Var territory offers us riches in terms of landscapes and villages of character. We strongly advise you to visit 2 of them:
- La Cadière d'Azur : the typical Provençal village, where you can stroll through the colorful and narrow streets of the city center and admire the fields of vines and olive trees as far as the eye can see.
- Le Castellet : ancient medieval city, completely pedestrianized today, meeting place for local creators.

Friday: relaxing in Bandol and last ice cream
On this last day of vacation, take it cool. Take advantage of your last morning for a breakfast on the terrace, a run on the sand at Renecros, a morning walk along the coast, ricochets at the Engraviers beach or just a stroll on Harbour along the pointed ones.
Also think about the memories! grocery stores local products, soap factory, cellars wine, bring back a little Bandol in your suitcases. A nice way to extend the vacation. And don’t hesitate to visit us at the tourist office. Postcards, magnets, mugs and other souvenirs are waiting for you.
In the afternoon, anything goes! Children will be delighted (and adults too) to come together for a snack break delicious as can be. Ice cream with a view of the Pointus, crepe and waffle filled with whipped cream or local pastries in the beautiful Ness tea room, your desires will necessarily be fulfilled. Because after this week spent with us, we're going to need some chocolate to compensate for the sadness of returning.
This week with us is already coming to an end. We hope you liked it or at least that it gave you ideas for your next vacation. ! And don't forget, if you took photos, share them with us on your networks by tagging us with #bandoltourism or by mentioning us @bandoltourismeofficiel.
