Bandol as a couple on a weekend in Spring

On a weekend getaway to Bandol? Here are the local gems to discover this season. A concentrate of Provence and the Mediterranean for two days of guaranteed change of scenery!

Day 1: Var coastline and Bandol pleasures

For this first day with us, we have decided to pull out all the stops. Our desire: to help you discover the natural part of Bandol, the one that will allow you to appreciate the coast as it should be.

It is on the coastal path that you will spend your day, between pine forest and pebble coves. But before setting out, have a little picnic at the daily morning market or in one of the bakeries in the downtown. Enough to take a lunch break in a pretty pebble cove.

Day 2: breakfast on the terrace and diving on Ile Rousse

Start by starting the day with a good breakfast. To do this, you can go to a small town bakery and take with you pain au chocolat and croissant to devour on the beach of Renecros. Or, you can also have yourself served! You can choose to sit on the church square or on the port side to take advantage of the options offered by the numerous bars. Perfect for those who like to let themselves be carried away.

In the afternoon, an underwater encounter awaits you. Have you ever dived in the Mediterranean? The city's diving center, Bandol Diving, welcomes you every day to make you see life in blue. Sars, octopuses, starfish, wrasses and sea breams, all the local fauna extends its arms, or rather its fins, to you!

Their favorite spots: the surroundings of Bandol and in particular Ile Rousse, this piece of protected rock full of birds that you must have come across yesterday during your walk on the coastal path. An unforgettable experience which is aimed at both experienced divers and beginners.

Et if you've never done one, now is the perfect time to launch! The summer crowds are not there yet, the water is still translucent and the seabed intact.
