Saturday: discovery of bandol

Freshly arrived, take the morning to put down your things, resume a bit of the trip and start to disconnect. For the lunch, we advise you one of our many Bandolais restaurants ! The afternoon is a city ​​discovery who is waiting for you. Stroll through the little colorful streets of downtown, admire the pretty pointus that adorn our quay of honor and learn more about the history of Bandol. Sunday: direction la sainte-baume

On this beautiful Autumn Sunday, why not take advantage of the mild temperatures to set off to discover the Sainte-Baume massif ? A legendary massif in western Var, an emblematic landmark of our territory, this natural area is in reality a Regional Natural Park. Park in which a multitude of activities are possible: cycling, climbing, trail running…

Monday: relaxation day

After the weekend's sports outings, it's time to take care of yourself and give yourself some rest. For this, how about a spa, massage and wellness day?

You may not know it, but Bandol has at its heart a very beautiful establishment, The Hotel l'Ile Rousse*****. This one has a spa with a view of our beloved beach of Renecros, the Thalazur. On the menu: massage, scrub, hammam, sauna, swimming pool… and of course well-being, disconnection and relaxation. Tuesday: market and coastal path

Tuesday, in Bandol, is day of the market ! From 8 a.m. to 13 p.m., a large market takes place all over the quay. Present: local producers with their tasty, flavorful and fragrant fruits and vegetables, ideal for planning a snack for lunch; Provençal artisans, butcher, rotisserie, fisherman and many more...

For the afternoon, we suggest you leave the city; head west. Let's go for a nature escape thanks to the coastal path ! As its name suggests, this beautiful path runs along the entire Bandol coast. It will allow you to cross the most beautiful beaches and coves from the city and reach the cove of Port d'Alon, a small pebble beach located in the commune of Saint-Cyr. Along the way, umbrella pines, plunging views of the sea and spectacular Var landscapes will be on the program.

Wednesday: visit to the wine estates

If there is any one thing that makes Bandol famous both in France and abroad, it's the wine. And we are not a little proud of our AOC ! So how can you spend a whole week in Bandol without being interested in its wines?

To learn more about these nectars, we recommend you take a trip to the wine bar of the city, located at the end of the quay, opposite the Casino de jeux. There, you can of course buy a bottle of Bandol, but also and above all collect advice and tips on the areas open to visits.

Subsequently, you can then go to the area of ​​your choice to discover the work of the region's winegrowers. Don't panic, the wine estates are almost all less than 30 minutes' drive from Bandol. But these 30 minutes will not be without interest, because you will come across a good number of fields of vines with magnificent colors.

Then once you arrive, you can learn more about working the land, the fruit and also taste the grape variety of your choice; in moderation, of course, alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health, especially when driving!

Thursday: sport and nature

Bandol has the advantage of being a city located between land and sea, between beaches and mountains. This allows you to have access to a multitude of nautical and land activities. To give you some ideas:

• On the nautical side, You can set off to conquer the Mediterranean by boat, surf, kayak or even paddle… to discover all the water activities, just click here.

Friday: Hinterland

The last day of the holidays has arrived and you cannot leave without seeing our countryside. It's as beautiful as the coast, to tell you the truth.

For this, we have selected for you 2 villages of character which are worth seeing: La Cadière d'Azur and Le Castellet. One is a typical Provencal village where you can stroll peacefully in the charming little alleys and the other is a ancient medieval city filled with local creators. What they have in common: a 360° view, where fields of vines and olive trees plunge into a turquoise sea.
