Because when there are several of us, the key to a great day is preparation, here is all you will need:

Let's go for a family discovery day. To start, slip into one of the boulangeries from the city for breakfast. Then direction the port to start our beautiful coastal path.

There, walk along the boats on the right (when you are facing the port). You will surely pass in front of theOur Tourist Office ; feel free to come and say hello and get a trail map. Continue on your way, go around the stadium, along the sea. You will then arrive at our largest sandy beach, that of Renecros.

There, install the beach towels and enjoy breakfast with a summer feel. A real moment of relaxation for parents and fun for children. Because in general, at this time of year, there are not many people on the sand, which leaves plenty of room for the little ones to have fun!

After this early morning, how about continue your route towards the pebble coves? Continue along the beach to reach the stairs at the very end. Continue along the coast and overlooking the creeks. A walk that allows you to discover the other part of Bandol, the west side, the most natural of all.

You have arrived at the last beach in Bandol, that of Engravers. Pretty pebble cove, it has the advantage of being the furthest from the center and therefore the least popular. This beach will be your base for a sunny picnic !

So take out the towels and rest on this beach with the only sound of the surf of the waves on the pebbles.

For this afternoon, we have two routes to offer.

If your family is made up of older children (teenagers), you can then continue your way on the coastal path to the Calanque de Port d'Alon. This cove is a key stage of the trail. A pebble beach nestled between two cliffs, it is also and above all the path that connects it which is very beautiful…

From Engraviers beach to the Calanque de Port d’Alon, you will need to count one hour walk. Time during which you will overlook the sea with magnificent landscapes: curved pines, crystal clear waters, cliffs plunging into the sea… Once arrived, you can take another break before leaving by the same path, in the opposite direction. You will then have to count 2 hours of walking to Bandol for an arrival in town around 18 p.m.

If your family is made up of toddlers (less than 10 years old), we advise you to stop there for the coastal path and instead go and explore the seabed. To do this, go back and return to the port of Bandol. Direction theaquascope, this little yellow submarine located right next to theAtlantis, the big boat that takes you straight to the Calanques of Cassis and Marseille.

This submarine offers you an outing in the Bay of Bandol, lasting approximately 45 minutes. The opportunity for the little ones to see the fish that live along our coasts and to learn more about the marine flora and fauna thanks to the explanations of the skipper. A fun outing that is sure to please children!

Wouldn't it be snack time?

A wide choice is available to you: small tea Room cozy with very good pastries, fabulous Tropézienne pie or a simple coffee on the terrace. But from experience, we prefer to warn you, generally, these are the bandolais glaciers the big winners in the hearts of the little ones! Here too, you will have the choice between classic ice creams, Italian ice creams, sorbets or even new flavors...

And because snack time is also a good excuse to take a break, why not sit on one of the benches that litter the quay? You will be able to enjoy your ice cream with a beautiful view of the pointus and your children will have the whole port to stretch their legs.
