At the tourist office, we had a sudden desire for summer. Like a need for discoveries and exploration with the arrival of sunny days. And what better place for a trip to an unknown land than the Bandol savannah? For these spring holidays, embark with us into the sunny world of Kirikou!
Do you know Kirikou?
Notice to parents in their thirties and forties: you must have already seen this beautiful cartoon! The story ofa little boy full of good will and above all very courageous. Besides, it’s not us who say it, but his song “Kirikou is not big, but he is valiant”. On his way, he had the opportunity to cross paths with a terrible witch and wild beasts...
It is into this universe still unknown to Var children that we wish to take your little ones April and in May. And this, in order to liven up their well-deserved spring break a little more. The program includes treasure hunts, puzzles, workshops and of course, lots of gifts!

4 treasure hunts throughout the city
In the savannah, Kirikou's adventures lead him to encounter in turn a black hyena, an imposing buffalo, an immense giraffe, as well as a formidable poisonous plant. It is exactly this journey, symbolized by 4 treasure hunts, which will the children borrow!
To play, they will need follow in the footsteps of each of these crazy people. How ? Based on a plan carefully prepared by the tourist office team. At the said places, toddlers will have to open their eyes wide, search up, down, south, north, in all directions, in order to find the answers to the questions asked in our brochure.
When they have collected the precious elements, all they have to do is come back and see us at the tourist office to get their surprise!
Bonus : one of the four treasure hunts takes place among the merchants. So parents can also treat themselves to a little shopping session!
4 Workshops at the tourist office
That's not all ! To punctuate your weeks of school break with fun and entertaining activities, we offer several workshops which will take place on our square in front of the tourist office:
- Wednesday, April 24, from 15:30 p.m. to 17 p.m., decoration of small pots : you know, those mini terracotta vases that Kirikou encountered in one of his adventures. A service leader will show your children how to decorate them. Markers, stickers and other accessories will be at their disposal to let their creativity shine!
- Friday, April 26 and Thursday, May 2, from 15:30 p.m. to 17 p.m., discovery of the Awalé game : the favorite board game in Africa, continent of Kirikou. We will teach you and your children how to play it.
- Friday, May 3, from 15:30 p.m. to 17 p.m., making a mill : you have probably already seen or even played with the pretty paper windmills. This workshop will be an opportunity for your little one to create their own.
✅ Good to know : these workshops are free, without reservation and will be carried out while stocks last. You must stay with your child, or at least nearby, for the duration of the activities. The tourist office and its team will not be responsible.

- To be won: chocolates, wind flowers, small flower pots, without forgetting Kirikou's favorite game, of the Awales !
