An old treasure map, hidden clues, and three missions to complete all summer long: that's what awaits you in Bandol! From July 6th to August 30th, 2026, whether you're a budding explorer or a seasoned treasure hunter, you'll need to keep your eyes peeled, because nuggets are hidden all over town 💎

The Great Treasure Hunt for Cabin Boys

Our beautiful coastline is brimming with all sorts of treasures. Stunning landscapes. Secret coves. Perfect spots for admiring the fish… But that's not all. This summer, A number of relics have been carefully hidden. Here and there. We need you. little kids on holiday or nearby, to find them. But to do that, But you still need to know where to look for them.Don't worry, we have a compass-style brochure that will show you the way 🧭

🔎 Your mission:

1. Pick up the map at the tourist office.
2. Follow the route and go to the different points indicated on the map.
3. Find the hidden clues.
4. Note the numbers written on it to add them all up.
5. Return to the tourist office with the number thus obtained and try to open the safe !

🎁 And what is the treasure? Good question, Captain! Because a treasure should be a surprise until the very end, we'll just tell you that after this wonderful adventure, the fun won't be quite over…

The traderidera of Bandol merchants

Traderide-what? Originally, a traderidera was a word that encapsulates the musical expression "faire du yaourt" (to make yogurt). That is, when you sing without really knowing the words. And over time, some merry pranksters transformed this funny expression into a game. The idea is simple: passing an object in rhythmThe first one to lose track also loses the game.

So, you can imagine that we're not going to suggest you hold hands in a circle in front of the tourist office and pass a magnet around (although that could be fun). However, we will arrange a meeting with you in several Bandol shops...

🫣 The principle:

• Partner merchants will hide one and the same item in their shop that they will spend the whole summer.
• A first photo The location of the object in question will be posted on our Facebook account on Monday, July 6, 2026. @Bandoltourism.
• You will then need to vgo to the shop concerned and find the traderidera.
• If you manage to do so, you will need to bring it back to the tourist office to leave with your gift.
• The item will then be hidden again in another shop, a photo will be published again, and a new quest will be launched. and so on until the end of the summer.

🎁 What exactly is the gift? Bandol, of course. Or rather, a superb poster of our beloved town in its most beautiful season… We won't tell you any more, we prefer to leave you with the surprise!

The Hidden Totem

It was a huge hit last summer and it's back this year to the delight of the adventurers who read us. The office totem will play hide-and-seek again throughout the seasonWhile the traderidera will take you directly to the heart of Bandol's shops, the totem, on the other hand, will show you the most beautiful parts of the cityBut be careful, keep in mind that your mission will be to find the totem and not (only) to get lost in the magnificent views you will encounter.

🪾 The principle:

• Every Monday and WednesdayA totem will be hidden in the city.
• To help you find it, an index will be published on our Instagram account @bandoltourismeofficiel.
• You will then have to go therefind the totem and bring it back to the tourist office.
• In return, a wonderful gift awaits you…
