For the 2026 winter holidays, the Bandol tourist office wanted to pay tribute to all the cold-sensitive people of the south. Those who pull out their down jackets as soon as the temperature drops below 20°C. Those who say, without even realizing it, "Wow, it's freezing today!" Those for whom winter rhymes with mimosa and certainly not with larch! In February, Bandol plunges into the deep freeze and gives way to the Ice Age.

This year, the entire Bandol Tourism team invites you to join them on a journey A grand adventure towards… the Ice Age ?! Yes, you read that right. But don't worry, this journey through time will be in the company of famous characters that all children know well: the animals from Ice Age!
So, Manny the mammoth, Sid the sloth, Diego the saber-toothed tiger, and even Scrat the unlucky squirrel will be there to to serve as guides to all the kids passing through the door of our tourist office. For what purpose? We'll tell you everything below…

From February 7 to 8 March 2026Children from Bandol, or those visiting our lovely icy town, will have a mission of the utmost importance: to help Scrat finally to get hold of the acorns that he is so desperately seeking!
✅ How? Thanks to a very complex strategy developed by our prehistoric friends, consisting of 4 steps:
- Retrieve the plan from the treasure hunt to the reception of the tourism office.
- Look for the famous nuts scattered throughout the city.
- Solve the puzzles which will be offered to them.
- Find the keywords which will allow them to get out of this far too long winter!
(I.e. As a gift For families who successfully complete the course: delicious treats.

The frosted workshops
February 11, 19, 26 and March 4, from 15 p.m. to 17 p.m.
In addition to the treasure hunt you can enjoy throughout the week, the Bandol Tourism team will also offer a workshop each week. Still on our icy theme, children will be invited to unleash their creativity. from 15 h to 17 h, according to the following program:
- Wednesday February 11 : creation of a mask in the likeness of the characters from Ice Age (cutting, gluing) – from 6 years old.
- Thursday February 19 : building an igloo out of Playmaïs – from 6 years old.
- Thursday February 26 : creation of a "Scrat" paper puppet (cutting, gluing) – from 6 years old.
- Wednesday, March 4 : making seed bombs and decorating bags (handling clay, gluing and coloring) – from 5 years old.
✅ Practical information:
- Location: forecourt of the tourist office (in case of rain, the workshops will take place inside).
- Duration: approximately 30 minutes per workshop.
- inscriptions: from February 2th, directly at the tourist office reception.
- Conditions: Maximum 8 children per session, parent presence required.
