Today, we wanted to introduce you to a new restaurant. Or rather, a new establishment. And it's none other than the famous restaurant, L'Auberge des Pins, which has reopened its doors. Located between Bandol and Le Beausset, we had the chance to meet the happy new owners and taste some of their specialties... We'll tell you all about it here!
The Pine Inn between Bandol and Le Beausset
If you are a regular in our region, you have definitely already passed by this legendary establishment. The Pine Inn is located on the road to Beausset, halfway between the village of the same name and the port of our beloved town of Bandol.
So, during your backcountry getaways, at the discovery of the Cadière d'Azur, Castellet or alternatively AOC Bandol wine estates, you've probably taken this road. You know, the one that changes with the seasons, but is always so beautiful. The one we would gladly stop on to admire the vines, sometimes green, sometimes orangeWell, that's precisely where this inn is located. On a bend, just past the hills and the local producers' stalls.
To tell you the truth, this establishment is almost part of the decor. A superb Provençal country house, half-hidden by vegetation, with only a large green sign as a sign. It is in this setting, as mysterious as it is well-known, that the magic (re)works…
A restaurant between Provence and the Mediterranean in Bandol
While the former owners praised the hotel-restaurant, the new owners are mainly looking for focus on the restoration part. After more than 20 years of working wonders in the kitchens of La Jetée at the Seyne-sur-mer, they wanted something new, a challenge and a greener setting, let's say.
But what hasn't changed is their passion for southern gastronomy and their love for local products. Thus, in their ovens, delicious little dishes are simmered, as modern as they are delicious, which skillfully blend the flavors of our Provençal terroir with the treasures of our Mediterranean.
And as loyal testers that we are, we had to taste their specialties for you. You know, when it comes to dedicating ourselves to the task, we run! 😉 A simple glance at the menu, our taste buds were already seduced: between the simplicity of a beautiful plate of deviled eggs to share, the creaminess of a avocado toast, passing through the tasty ones mussels au gratin with parsley and the fish soup, clearly, we didn't know where to start.
For lovers of iodized notes, we highly recommend tuna tartare, the cuttlefish just seared or the delicious grilled octopus. And for more “earthly” desires, the generous prime rib will delight your palate. All served, as you choose, on their sunny and tastefully designed terrace, or inside to enjoy the conviviality of the place even more.
Reception room for all your events
The cherry on the cake, the pompom on the Garonne, the sprig of rosemary on the polenta, this place, as gourmet as it is refined, opens its doors to you for all your events. Yes, because the owners plan to make the new Auberge des Pins, the privileged place for your most beautiful moments in life.
Whether it's to celebrate a wedding in a romantic setting, to celebrate a baptism with family, or to party with friends for a birthday, all your festive occasions will be enhanced by the kindness of the team and the softness of the bohemian decoration.
