La Pétanque de l’Office: the July winners

This year again, vacationers' favorite pétanque competition brought excitement to the city center bowling green. At the port, dozens of teams competed in July to win the title of Bandol pétanque champion and the famous gifts offered by partner merchants. A look back at those who won!

The winners of July 10

In this very first competition of the summer, pétanque players from all walks of life responded! And that’s after several hours of tournament play, dozens of tiles and hundreds of “Oh!” You shoot or you point ! » that two teams stood out.

A huge congratulations to the Pot-en-coeur who are the big winners of July 10! And congratulations also to the amoretti, winners of competition B, the consoling one.

Each winning team left with their arms loaded with gifts, including bottles of Wines of Bandol, sea trips with the company Atlantis, kayak or paddle rentals offered by Extreme Surfing Club, without forgetting delicacies to taste at Jade sushi, Piazza Pizza or, at Cooper.

The winners of July 17

On July 17, the second Office Pétanque of the summer was held! For the occasion, 32 teams of 3 people fought on the field. For everyone, only one objective: to get as close as possible to the jack!

It is with complete zenitude and simplicity that the team Relaxing flew through the competition! Congratulations to these big winners. As for the consolation, the talent of the team Charmettes hit the mark, leading them straight to victory. Well done !

This evening again, Bandolese traders responded to salute the performances of our winners. Restaurant The Friend, the chocolatier Creacao, The baker Ness Pastry or even the shops Val N'J et Blacks Legend spoiled the participants!

July 24 winners

Time for the third pétanque competition this summer 2024! Like every Wednesday evening, the players met on the bowling green at the port of Bandol, in order to win the precious champion title, but also and above all, beautiful gifts from our partners.

After long hours, it's the team Burn Not The Same who managed to do well by winning the competition! Congratulations ! And of course, let's not forget to salute the team's performance La Coudou who proudly won the consolation (competition B). Congratulations to all !

The two teams left once again with their arms full of gifts from the city's merchants. A huge voucher to be used in the store The Insolent, a facial and beard treatment offered by hairdressers Linda and Yvan, jewelry to find at Influence, a voucher at the butcher's Tanzilli House… And many more !

If this competition was the last for the month of July, it was also the first to test the new rules that we have put in place. Yes, each time it was with a heavy heart and immense disappointment, both for you and for us, that we had to refuse several teams each week, because we were full!

This is why we have adapted and changed our rules to accommodate even more pétanque players. And the least we can say is that everyone liked it, especially the four winning teams.

The big winners, those who have amassed the most points are Calamari with 4 victories for a total of 39 points. In second place, we have The 3 Cs which have 4 victories for 26 points. Team follow-ups Sango Ku, 4 victories and 21 points. And finally, in fourth position, we have The Mugi with 4 victories for 11 points in total. Congratulations to all !

You can imagine that this Wednesday evening too, Bandolese traders pulled out all the stops! Sea excursions with Atlantis, bottles of champagne offered by the real estate agency Milie, discounts at the grocery store Au Clair de la Vigne Side Cellars, a discount at Anita (ready-to-wear) and vouchers from Spar were, among other things, up for grabs.
