The Var 2024 Veteran Departmental Championship
Every year, pétanque enthusiasts meet in one of the Var towns to do battle. On the field, everyone has only one goal: to obtain the title of Vétérans du Var Pétanque Champions. In 2024, it is Saint Tropez that hostilities will take place. Welcomed by the Boule Tropézienne, seniors from across the department will compete on April 17 and 18. And for the occasion, the talents of Bandolais pointers and shooters are putting their title back on the line.
La boule bandolaise: a multi-titled pétanque team
It is therefore with honor and ferocity that the team of the Boule Bandolaise will defend its hard-won position as Var champion in 2023. A group of 8 players, 8 competitors, 8 talents made in Bandol. A team made up of Gilbert Obscur (several times Champion of Var and the National Pétanque League), Sylver Mazella, Jean-Marc Andreozzi, Marc Gigli, Jeannot da Costa, Serge Vernet, Daniel Médina, Patrick Nicorosi.
At the end of this competition : the possibility of making the colors of our dear city of Bandol shine during the National Championship. An event which will take place in the summer of 2024. So good luck to them!
