If you are a resident or vacationer in Bandol on the coastal path side, you must have surely noticed that work is underway along the road. The aim of the latter: to correct recurring sanitation problems. Road disruptions are expected…

diversion for motorists

From January 8 and until mid-February 2024, part of avenue Albert 1ᵉʳ will be closed to traffic. The road will thus be inaccessible from avenue Maréchal Leclerc (extension of rue des écoles). Don't panic, a diversion will be put in place via Boulevard de Pierreplane.

So, to reach the seaside, from Avenue Maréchal Leclerc, you will have to continue straight to take Boulevard Georges Clémenceau, then Boulevard de Pierreplane, to finally turn on your left towards Boulevard du Capelan. That will add about 5 minutes to your journey.

Stops removed for users

Line 3 of Bus Bandol will also be disrupted. Over this same period, from January 8 to mid-February, the Capelan/Provence, Tennis Municipal and Parc de Renecros stops will unfortunately be canceled. In return, the bus will make an additional stop at the Pierreplane stop, close to the Les Oliviers residence.

For residents affected by the Capelan/Provence and Tennis Municipal stops, we advise you to move closer to the Cottages Fleuris or Les Lutins stops. The latter are more advantageous for you because they are closer.

Finally, for those concerned by the Parc de Renecros, the Pierreplane ruling represents a good alternative thanks to the Canet Park. So, to reach this new stop you will have the option of cross the park from its entrance opposite Eden Roc beach, to exit on the Boulevard de Pierreplane side. You will then have to go back about 150 m on your left, towards the stop.
