Yes, we know, this title can scare lovers of sleeping in. But do not panic, in this season, sunrises, or at least the first moments of the morning, are not that early.
It's around 7:30 / 8 a.m. (we told you it was fine!), that Bandol welcomes its first rays of sunshine. And it is precisely this moment that we wish to share with you.
The best way to fully appreciate the moment is to head for the seaside, on the coastal path, between the range of Renecros and Engravers. There, every morning, there floats a suspended atmosphere. As if we found ourselves in a parallel universe out of time.

As for the color of the sky, and depending on the weather the day before, you will find three main ones: the gold, of the rising sun; the pink, from the mistral the day before; or grey clouds. For having tested them all, we assure you that it is worth getting up a little earlier than usual.
At this hour, the landscapes look like postcards. Between the rays of the sun which are reflected in the sea forming small diamonds, the fisherman returning from his night in a pointed boat or the sand of Renecros still preserved from footprints, it's a spectacle at every bend that awaits you.
The birds begin to sing, nature awakens little by little. As for humans, they get up or are already preparing for their new working day. This leaves us the field free on the whole trail. And quiet ears too. Yes because, at this hour, apart from the waves and the birds, you are not likely to hear much. And that is precisely what we are looking for.
Well, we admit it, there are still a few people who had the same idea. In general, you will come across the most valiant among us. Athletes, whether joggers, tennis fans or brisk walkers, meet at this time of day. And there are also those who, one day, were dragged outside by their four-legged friend and who finally never tire of the Bandol sunrises.
Our secret to share is therefore quite simply the best time of day to take full advantage of what Bandol has to offer: the sunrises.
