1/ La Bandolaise Classic > tarred road, 1h30

 

Departure and arrival on the port in front of the Tourist Information Office. 3.5 Miles race with a difference in height of 20 meters. Follow the dedicated marking.

2/ Bunan - Fontanieu path > tarred road, 2h30

 

Departure : At the stop sign situated down the street (La Calade St Eloi) going along the Tourist Information Office. At the stop sign, cross the road on the pedestrian crossing, go straight on La Calade Saint Eloi (pedestrian road going along the parking of the War Memorial).At the end of the road, at the stop sign, turn on your right and continue towards the New Oratory of Saint Jean (the pillar holding the font is a monolithic rock, that is to say a piece of work made of a single block, such as the pedestal.The oratory dated from 1866).

Take the first road on your right (Chemin de l’Argile), 10 meters further, at the crossroads, turn on your left (Chemin de l’Argile).You arrive in the middle of Bandol AOC vineyards. Near the Gros Noré Domain, you would appreciate the beautiful view: at the foreground there is the vineyard and at the background stands La Cadière Village. After the Domain, take the first road on your right, just before the road sign Château Gaussen. Turn on your left at the junction. Here starts the dirt road.

At the crossroads, turn on your right on the track meandering in the vineyard all along the olive trees to join Bunan Domains. You can rest at the domain where the Bunan’s family will welcome you to discover the secret of their wines and to savor their best vintages (3 gold and silver medals in 2005, favorite in Hachette Guide in 2006). Go along the domain buildings and take the tarred road.


* You have the possibility to make a detour to discover a fountain. At the end of the track, turn on your right, 5 meters further (Chemin Fontanieu Bis). Continue straight on this track, you will find the fountain a bit further below on your left. At the junction, go down and turn on your left continue on the track of Fontanieu.At the end of the track, turn on your left, (Chemin de l’Argile) and follow the same itinerary to come back to the Tourist Information Office. 3/ Bunan - Pibarnon path > tarred and dirt roads, 3h30

 

Departure : At the stop sign situated down the street (La Calade St Eloi) going along the Tourist Information Office. Go along the domain buildings and take the tarred road.At the junction, take the last road on your right (make almost a U-turn). This track is a cul-de-sac where you will find in front of you the marking for the GR 51(red and white road signs). At this level, you have a wonderful seaview on Bandol, Sanary and Six-Fours.You can also see the Pibarnon Castle. On your left, there is the sea and on your right, the Castellet village and the Saint Baume Massif.

The little path continues in front of you (go up on a slope).At the end of the path, keep on following the marking of the GR 51: turn on your left.At the crossroads, take the road on your left (Chemin de la Croix des Signaux). Keep on going on this road (except if you want to visit the Pibarnon Castle on the left).

At the junction, turn on your right and go down (Chemin de Marenc et des Costes).You can admire a splendid view on Les Lecques and La Ciotat Bays. Continue on the track.At the end of the track, take on your right (D266).At the stop sign, turn on your right, then take the second road on your left to go back to the Tourist Information Office.
